To enter the Valvoline at Advance Auto Parts Beach Break Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), you ("Entrant") must agree to and abide by these Official Rules ("Official Rules").

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

THE FOLLOWING SWEEPSTAKES IS VALID ONLY IN THE 50 UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND PUERTO RICO. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES UNLESS YOU ARE AT LEAST EIGTHEEN (18) YEARS (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN YOUR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE), AND LOCATED IN THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, D.C. OR PUERTO RICO AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry are: (a) a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico (collectively, the "Territory"); and (b) at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older). Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Administrator, Advance Auto Parts, Inc. ("Advance"), and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and their advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities"), and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of any Sweepstakes Entity are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. "Immediate family members" shall mean spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren, and step relationships of the foregoing, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not. Void outside Territory and where prohibited, taxed or otherwise restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET"), February 27, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET, March 26, 2025 ("Entry Period"). For purposes of these Official Rules, all times and days are Eastern Time. Administrator’s designated computer is the official clock for all matters related to this Sweepstakes.

During the Entry Period, eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes in one of two ways (each an "Entry"):

Method #1: Purchase Entry ("Purchase Entry"): During the Entry Period purchase any five (5) quart equivalence of eligible Valvoline oil products at any Advance Auto Parts locations in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico or on https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/ ("Eligible Products"). See section 5 below for a list of Eligible Products. After completing your purchase, navigate the Internet to https://valvolineglobal.com/advance-beach-break ("Website") and follow these steps:

Complete the entry form including your full name, email address, complete mailing address and phone number.
Upload a copy of your proof of purchase (i.e., cash register receipt or online invoice clearly showing the Eligible Products purchased and the quantity of each, the Advance location at which the Eligible Products were purchased, and the date of purchase.

To complete your Purchase Entry, click the "Submit" button on the Website. Proof of inputting information at the Website is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor or Administrator of a Purchase Entry. Receipt of Purchase Entry may be acknowledged but such acknowledgment does not constitute a representation by Sponsor or Administrator as to eligibility of and Entry or Entrant and is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor or Administrator.

In submitting a Purchase Entry, you represent and warrant that the purchase included as part of your entry was a legitimate, bona fide purchase for your personal use as a consumer. "Shill" or token purchases will not result in Purchase Entry and may constitute tampering/fraud as per Rule 9 below. In addition, purchases made by business entities for company use will not count as Purchase Entries.

IF YOU DO NOT CHECK THE BOX INDICATING YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE ABOVE, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES BY MEANS OF A PURCHASE ENTRY OR WIN A PRIZE. DO NOT CHECK THE BOX WITHOUT FIRST REVIEWING THESE RULES, SPONSOR’S TERMS OF USE AND SPONSOR’S PRIVACY POLICY.

Purchase Entry will NOT be valid if (a) the proof of purchase is corrupted, inaccessible, garbled, unreadable, not genuine, jumbled, irregular or otherwise unacceptable; (b) the Eligible Products purchase was not made during the Entry Period; (c) the proof of purchase is not included at time of submission of the entry form (piecemeal or partial submissions will not be accepted); (d) the Eligible Products were received in exchange for the return of other product(s); or (e) the retailer identified on the proof of purchase is not an Advance location/website. Any attempt to forge a proof of purchase will not result in Purchase Entry and may constitute tampering/fraud as per Rule 9 below.. By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, improperly recorded (or not recorded at all) or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted.

Method #2: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Entry Without Purchase of Eligible Product ("Mail-In Entry"): To enter without purchasing Eligible Products, handprint your full name, street address, city, state, zip code, email address (REQUIRED) and phone number on a 3″x5" postcard and mail it in a #10 sealed envelope with the proper postage affixed to: Valvoline at Advance Beach Break Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 400 Social Circle, GA 30025-9998. Envelopes must be postmarked by March 26, 2025 and received by April 3, 2025. No photocopies, facsimiles, or mechanically reproduced Mail-In Entries will be accepted. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for Mail-In Entries that are, for any reason, late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or have insufficient postage. Limit one (1) entry per outer envelope.

Purchase Entry and Mail-In Entry may be collectively referred to herein as "Entry" or "Entries."

FOR ALL TYPES OF ENTRIES:

Limit of one (1) Entry per person during the Entry Period, regardless of Entry method. Multiple Entries received from any person beyond this entry limit will void all such Entries. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means or by any means that subverts the entry process will be disqualified.

You may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminder e-mails from Sponsor. Consenting to receive promotional e-mails and reminder e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed upon in order to be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. In the event you do consent to receive these e-mails, the use of such e-mails shall be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsor (https://www.valvolineglobal.com/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy/) and you may opt out of receiving these e-mails at any time.

RANDOM DRAWING/SELECTION OF WINNERS/ODDS: Potential winners (each a "Winner" and collectively the "Winners") will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period via a random drawing conducted on or about April 7, 2025. The drawing will be conducted by Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES ("ARV"):

ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE ("Grand Prize") is available to be won. Grand Prize winner will receive a 5-day/4-night trip for Winner and up to three (3) guest(s) (each, a "Guest") (Grand Prize Winner and Guest(s) collectively, the "Group") to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands ("Trip"). Trip includes: economy class round-trip air travel for Group to destination city from a major airport designated by Sponsor from among those nearest to Winner’s home; four (4) nights’ hotel accommodations during the Trip (two standard rooms, double occupancy); and $5,000 cash or cash equivalent. Grand Prize winner will also receive one (1) Valvoline Beach Prize Pack consisting of: one (1) NESO† Grande Beach Tent; one (1) Valvoline branded IGLOO Trailmate† 25 Qt Cooler; one (1) JBL† Charge 4 Wireless Speaker; four (4) Valvoline branded beach towels; two (2) Valvoline branded beach chairs; and one (1) Valvoline branded sun hat. ARV of Grand Prize: $15,944.93.

The ARV of the Grand Prize is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins. The actual value of the Grand Prize may vary depending on point of departure and fluctuations of hotel rates and air fares. Any difference between the ARV and the actual cost of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.

Trip must be taken by December 31, 2025. If Trip is not completed by December 31, 2025, the Grand Prize will be forfeited without compensation of any kind. Trip dates and accommodations are subject to availability; certain restrictions and block-out dates may apply. Sponsor reserves the right to change the allowable dates, the Trip period, or any other component of the Trip, for any reason and in its sole discretion. All components of the Trip must occur on consecutive nights. Group must travel on the same itinerary. Grand Prize Winner must provide Sponsor/Administrator with three (3) proposed travel dates at least sixty (60) days prior to the earliest proposed arrival date; however, Sponsor’s decision as to actual travel dates is final and binding and Trip may not be rescheduled except in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. If potential Grand Prize Winner is unavailable to travel during designated timeframe for any reason, the Grand Prize will be forfeited without compensation of any kind and an alternate Grand Prize Winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible entries in a random drawing. Travel must be reserved through Sponsor/Administrator’s agent. Sponsor will attempt to accommodate Grand Prize Winner’s preferred itinerary, but all specifics thereof will be at Sponsor’s discretion.

All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the Grand Prize Winner’s responsibility, including but not limited to: round trip transportation between the Grand Prize Winner’s/Guest(s)’s residence and any airport of origin, ground transportation while in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, fax, food, gratuities and tips, insurance (health, travel, medical), laundry service, merchandise, parking, room service, service charges, excursions, souvenirs, spa services, local and long distance telephone calls, taxes, incidental expenses, and any other charges or items which are not expressly included in the Trip. Itineraries and departure dates may be changed, cancelled or discontinued at any time. Sweepstakes Entities will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, gift cards or certificates (as applicable). Grand Prize elements may not be separated, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash, traded, transferred, substituted, assigned, or used for commercial purposes. Trip is for the Grand Prize Winner and up to three (3) Guests of Grand Prize Winner’s choosing. If any Guest is a minor, the Grand Prize Winner or one of the Grand Prize Winner’s other allotted Guests in the Group must be such minor’s parent or legal guardian. Once Guests are selected by Grand Prize Winner, Guests cannot be changed without the express consent of Sponsor, which may be withheld for any reason. If the Winner chooses to bring fewer than the allotted number of Guests, the Grand Prize will be awarded in increments suitable for the actual number of participants with no substitute prize or compensation provided to the Grand Prize Winner. Group must travel together on the same itinerary. Travel and lodging are subject to availability, certain restrictions, block-out dates and Sponsor’s approval as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Airline carrier and hotel regulations and conditions apply. Airline tickets issued in conjunction with the prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles,. Airline tickets are nonrefundable, non-transferable, and are not valid for upgrades. No one-way trips or upgrades allowed. Depending on airport of departure, flight may not be direct. Unless otherwise necessitated by Sponsor, no stopovers are permitted on tickets issued as the prize; if an unauthorized stopover otherwise occurs, the prize will terminate and full fare will be charged to Grand Prize Winner from the stopover point for the remaining trip segment(s), including the return. Once Resort accommodations and flight arrangements have been confirmed, no changes will be allowed except by Sponsor. All elements of the Trip package must be used by the Group on the same dates during the redemption of the Trip package. Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for any and all baggage charges, taxes and any other charges incurred after or in connection with the issuance and use of airline tickets. Sweepstakes Entities are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence if any component of the Trip, including flights, are cancelled/delayed/postponed or unavailable for any reason, and Grand Prize Winner will not be reimbursed, and no substitution will be provided, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, and any element of the prize not accepted or used by the Grand Prize Winner will be forfeited.

Grand Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability and certain other restrictions, which may include a Saturday-night stay, all of which are subject to change. Airfare may not include government taxes, Passenger Facility Charge or September 11th Security Fee. Other travel restrictions and block-out dates may apply. All airline tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. Sponsor reserves the right to structure travel routes in its sole discretion. The roundtrip air transportation element for any travel prize begins and ends at the point of departure. Other hotel fees are not included and if applicable may be payable at the time of check-out by the Grand Prize Winner/Guest(s). In the event the Grand Prize Winner and/or their Guest(s) engage in behavior that, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, or is contrary to Sponsor’s (or its affiliates’) property rules or policies in effect at the time for the Resort, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send the Grand Prize Winner and/or their Guest(s) home with no further compensation. Grand Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees to be solely responsible for any actions, claims or liabilities of any member of the Group related to any use or misuse of the Grand Prize or any Grand Prize-related activity or travel.

Guest(s) (if a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, their parent or legal guardian) must sign a Release and Indemnification and a Publicity Release (where allowed by law), prior to issuance of travel documents and participation in the Trip. Members of the Group are solely responsible for obtaining any and all necessary travel documents (valid photo I.D., credit card, etc.) before departure. Government-issued photo identification and credit card or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges (e.g., room service, use of telephone/IT services, laundry, damage, and all other optional extra services not provided in the prize). Winner and Guests must comply with any applicable hotel check-in requirements, such as presentation of a major credit card (and should Winner not have a credit card/payment instrument with sufficient available credit/funds to pay for a hotel stay of five [5] nights (or in such other amount as prescribed by hotel), Winner agrees to sign additional documents and/or take other steps prescribed by Sponsor and/or Administrator, upon request and without compensation of any kind, so as to protect Sponsor and Administrator from incurring any liability for damage to the hotel and hotel room caused during the hotel stay by Winner and their Guests). Certain restrictions, as determined by Sponsor, may apply. If Grand Prize Winner and Guest(s) cannot comply with these restrictions or any other portion of these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and provided that no prize elements have been used, an alternate Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from among all eligible entries.

The Trip is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, being provided by Sponsor. The Group will not receive compensation for any element(s) of the Trip that any participant(s) is unable to use for any reason, and such unused portion(s) of the Trip will be forfeited. If any portion of the Grand Prize is not available for any reason, then the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute that portion of the prize with another prize of comparable or greater value.

There may be specific state or government health agency instructions, guidelines and requirements for all visitors to the Resort. The Group members are solely responsible, at their own cost, for staying updated on and complying with any of the latest restrictions and requirements that may be in place for travel to and visiting the destination and premises leading up to and during the planned stay. Such restrictions and requirements are subject to change.

TWENTY (20) FIRST PRIZES (each a "First Prize") are available to be won. Each First Prize Winner will receive one (1) Valvoline Beach Prize Pack (as described in the Grand Prize). ARV of each First Prize is $544.93.

FIVE HUNDRED (500) SECOND PRIZES (each a "Second Prize") are available to be won. Each Second Prize Winner will receive one (1) Valvoline branded sun hat. ARV of each Second Prize is $30.00.

Total ARV of all prizes: $41,843.53.

All applicable U.S. federal, state and local taxes (including, but not limited to income and withholding taxes, sales taxes), as applicable on or connected with claiming a prize, and the reporting consequences thereof, and any other expenses not specifically included in a prize description are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Grand Prize Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC reflecting the total fair market value of the Grand Prize.

There is a limit of one (1) prize per person, family, household or address. Physical prizes will only be awarded to a street address located in fifty (50) United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico. Prize must be accepted in its entirety or not at all; Winner may not accept only certain elements of prize. If any element of prize is unused by Winner, no compensation or substitute prize will be awarded, and Sponsor, Administrator and Advance disclaim any and all liability in conjunction therewith. Any images of any prize in advertising are for illustrative purposes only and actual items awarded as the prize may differ from such images. Valvoline Beach Prize Pack items may ship separately. Prize elements will not be replaced if lost or stolen, and Sweepstakes Entities disclaim any and all liability in conjunction therewith. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen prize elements or any prize element that is undeliverable or does not reach Winner because of an incorrect or changed address or other contact information. Allow up to 6-8 weeks after completion of Prize Claim Documents for delivery of prize (as applicable). Tracking numbers will NOT be provided. Prize(s) returned as undeliverable may be forfeited. Winners are strictly prohibited from selling, auctioning, trading or otherwise transferring any part of the prize. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail and govern.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Administrator will attempt to notify the Entrants selected as potential Winners by email on or about April 7, 2025. To be determined a Winner, a selected Entrant may be required to complete, sign and return within five (5) business days of date of attempted notification an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release where allowed by law, as well as other documents that Sponsor may require (collectively, "Prize Claim Documents"). Failure to respond to the initial notification within three (3) business days after notification, return of e-mail notification as undeliverable after two (2) attempts, or failure to return the completed and signed Prize Claim Documents within the indicated time period will result in disqualification, prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate potential winner from among all remaining eligible entries received. For clarity, the Entrants selected as Second Prize Winners will receive their prize via postal mail without verification.

In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any Entrant that Sponsor is unable to resolve, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the Purchase Entry or the e-mail address indicated on the Mail-In Entry, as applicable. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, as well as each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives and each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns, as well as Meta Platforms, Inc. and X Corp. (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity or travel, and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any prize.

By entering, Entrants also authorize the Sponsor and its designees to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, prize information (if applicable), biographical data and city and state of residence in programming, advertising and/or promotional material or on a Winners’ list (if applicable) without compensation to the extent permitted by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without obligation or compensation.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All entries become the property of the Sponsor.

Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind affecting the Sweepstakes in any manner, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures beyond Sponsor’s control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes (including entries or otherwise), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, whether or not the individual is a participant in the Sweepstakes, who tampers with the entry process, and to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Sweepstakes and award the prizes in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be posted on the Website. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or loss, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer or internet online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or electronic entry or participation to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website/platform, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes. Failure of Sponsor or Administrator to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute the waiver of such provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entrants further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE, WEBSITE OR PLATFORM OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO DEFRAUD SPONSOR OR ADMINISTRATOR IN CONJUNCTION WITH OFFERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAY VIOLATE CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT THE INDIVIDUAL IS A PARTICIPANT IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE OF ANY PRIZE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the applicable state or federal court in Lexington, Kentucky; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Kentucky or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

WINNERS’ LIST: For the first name, last initial, and city of the Winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope (VT residents may omit postage on return envelope) to: Valvoline at Advance Beach Break Sweepstakes Winners, c/o Probability, PO Box 400, Social Circle, GA 30025-9998. All such requests must be received by April 30, 2025. Limit one (1) request per outer mailer.
